Follow Your Heart

“.. almost everything – all external expectations, all pride, all fear of embarrassment or failure – these things just fall away in the face of death, leaving only what is truly important. Remembering that you are going to die is the best way I know to avoid the trap of thinking you have something to lose. You are already naked. There is no reason not to follow your heart.”

Life is too short

to wake up in the morning with regrets.
So, love the people who treat you right,
forgive the ones who don’t and
believe that everything happens for a reason.
If you get a chance, take it.
If it changes your life, let it.
Nobody said it’d be easy, they just promised
IT WOULD BE WORTH IT!

Bridging the Gap

The less you associate with some people, the more your life will improve. Any time you tolerate mediocrity in others, it increases your mediocrity. An important attribute in successful people is their impatience with negative thinking and negative acting people. As you grow, your associates will change.. Some of your friends will not want you to go on. They will want you to stay where they are. Friends that don’t help you climb will want you to crawl.. Your friends will stretch your vision or choke your dream. Those that don’t increase you will eventually decrease you.

Trust yourself.

Trust yourself. Create the kind of life you will be happy to live with all your life. Make the most of yourself by fanning the tiny, inner sparks of possibility into the flames of achievement.

Secret of Happiness

“Alright, the secret of happiness is simple: find out what you truly love to do and then direct all of your energy towards doing it. If you study the happiest, healthiest, most satisfied people of our world, you will see that each and every one of them has found their passion in life, and then spent their days pursuing it. This calling is almost always one that, in some way, serves others. Once you are concentrating your mind power and energy on a pursuit that you love, abundance flows into your life, and all your desires are fulfilled with ease and grace.”

This is your life. Live your dream, and wear your passion. Life is short.

Just saw this on a friend’s facebook page… what a great poster!

“This is your life. Do what you love, and do it often. If you don’t like something, change it. If you don’t like your job, quit. If you don’t have enough time, stop watching TV. If you are looking for the love of your life, stop; they will be waiting for you when you start doing things you love. Stop over analyzing, life is simple. All emotions are beautiful. When you eat, appreciate every last bite. Open your mind, arms, and heart to new things and people, we are united in our differences. Ask the next person you see what their passion is, and share your inspiring dream with them. Travel often; getting lost will help you find yourself. Some opportunities only come once; seize them. Life is about the people you meet and the things you create with them, so go out and start creating. Live your dream, and wear your passion. Life is short.”

One of my favorite quote

“I believe that everything happens for a reason. People change so that you can learn to let go, things go wrong so that you learn to appreciate them when they’re right. You believe lies so you eventually learn to trust no one but yourself…and sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.” ~Marilyn Monroe

Morgan Spurlock: The greatest TED Talk ever sold | Video on TED.com

I couldn’t agree with Morgan Spurlock more. It’s definitely not easy to take risks but I learned how important it is to take a risk and grab the opportunity that comes on my way to move forward in life.

“We need to encourage people to take risks. We need to encourage people to not be afraid of opportunities that may scare them.. Ultimately moving forward, we need to embrace fear!” ^^

“What I always believe is that.. If you take chances and if you take risks, that in those risks will come opportunity. I believe that when you push people away from that, you pushing them more towards the failure. I believe when you train your employees to be risk averse, then you’re preparing your whole company to be reward challenged.”
